Senior Vice President of Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate, Norfolk, Virginia, June 1985 - Present
Kathy is responsible for the overall operations and development
of the Property Management Department. The management portfolio
includes approximately 6 million square feet of commercial properties
in the Hampton Roads area, including shopping centers, office
buildings, office warehouses, and industrial properties. All properties
managed by our firm are third party management accounts. Our clients
consist of banks, institutional owners, corporations, partnerships,
and individuals. Included in her responsibilities are recruiting,
selecting, and training of all employees in the Property Management
Department which currently include eight Property Managers, one
Tenant Coordinator, one Property Administrator, one Account Administrator and three Lease Administrators.
Kathy was instrumental in creating HL Construction which offers various construction services including tenant build-out, space planning, renovation/rehab, store front design and build to suit projects. In addition, HL construction provides property maintenance services and on-site employees for the commercial properties managed by Harvey Lindsay. Currently, Kathy has an advisory role with HL Construction.
Kathy serves as a Director on the Board for Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate.
Prior to joining the firm, Kathy was a Property Manager with Harrison and Bates, Inc. in Richmond, Virginia where she was responsible for the management of approximately fifteen shopping centers in the Richmond area, which totaled 1.5 million square feet.

Designations
Kathy earned the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in 1985. She earned the Accredited Management Organization (AMO) designation for the company in 1991. Kathy has her Virginia Real Estate Sales License.
