Background
Richard
has been with Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate since 1971. He worked in various
areas, including property management and leasing, until he was named President
of the company in 1978. He served in this capacity until 1993 when he became Vice
Chairman.
Prior to joining Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate, Richard
worked for Virginia National Bank (now Bank of America) ) and also served in the
United States Navy. He graduated in 1968 from Washington and Lee University in
Lexington, Virginia. His early years were spent at Norfolk Academy where he is
currently on the Board of Trustees and was President of the Board of Trustees
from 1995 until 1998. He currently is a Trustee for the Virginia Foundation for
Independent Colleges the Virginia Aquarium, and Bayville Golf Club.
